I have 71 mods installed (quite a few of these are MineFactory Reloaded compatibility mods) but every time I click the multiplayer tab the game will freeze after a few seconds :/ this is the crash report when I force minecraft to quit:

It appears that you are attempting to join a modded server, But are missing some required mods. It's attempting to connect multiple times then runs out of memory. So first check the mods on your client against the servers mod list. Then increase the allocated memory for Java on the Launcher.
