It's been doing this for a while now and it's been getting on my nerves with how disgusting it makes my Minecraft look. I was wondering if this has been happening to other people and if somebody could help instruct me how to get rid of this problem. I went through a survival world and took a series of screenshots to try and show you guys what it looks like.
After I posted it on here, I realized that for some reason in the first 3 they seem to be black and might be harder to detect, but
while i'm playing it, the dots are white and a lot easier to see and since they are easier to see, it's twice as annoying in game :/
I don't know why but, yes I've noticed when I posted them on here they are harder to see... But could you see the dots all over the water? Before I uploaded the screenshots I checked the screenshots in a photo program and I could clearly see the dots but in this thread I can't... I might do the circle in red though, just to show the dots. Hopefully
I had watched multiple videos just like this but realized that 1st: I'm a mac user. 2nd: The only videos or tutorials I had seen were extremely old (Like alpha minecraft) and last that my problem looked a little different because I don't have pink dots in the water and there is tons of these little white dots everywhere in the stitching or outline of the blocks that whenever I look around they will move. Sorry also because I had some trouble describing stuff lol
Here is just one screenshot on land and one in the ocean. Like I said before, before I uploaded the screenshots I checked the screenshots in a photo program and I could clearly see the dots but in this thread I can't see them as well.
It's just that I've had this problem for a while and it's been annoying me for a long time but finally I've gotten tired of it and I created a Curse account just for this purpose. I would really like help on how to get rid of it. I just wanna say Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me.

what MCGod said is true it is a anisotropic settings. I suggest checking your graphics card settings, and it will most likely be at 8X but change it to game decides
