I recently installed LiteLoader for my client to use a mod called Matmos (does a lot of atmosphere sounds for the game) but now I can't seem to get MCPatcher to install to the same profile for some reason. Each time I try the LiteLoader profile doesn't show up as a possible choice in MCPatcher.
I even tried to install Optfine instead (as I'm just trying to get the unique textures and stuff (random mobs/blocks for more flavor, as well as custom skies). Following the instructions from the LiteLoader post on MCForums with no luck: Just keep hitting the same road block basically that they aren't recognizing each other, have yet to get a single error or any crash, just mods not loading is all.
I have noticed a similar issue. I have tried installing Liteloader first as well as using MCPatcher first...with latest releases of both. The problem I seem to have is that once both are "in play" the Liteloader 1.8 with MCPatcher profile only seems to work with the stock 1.8 jar file...if I alter the liteloader json file to try to use the 1.8-mcpatcher jar file, all I get is a black screen. Running under the MCPatcher profile works just fine using the 1.8-mcpatcher.jar. Ideally I would like to use both liteloader and mcpatcher, but that doesn't seem to possible.

When I tried to install LiteLoader separate it didn't list the MCPatcher profile to choose from for some reason =/
*EDIT*
I tried again this time it managed to show up, thanks
*EDIT 2*
For some reason it doesn't seem to have the features from MCPatcher working for me even though it says both are installed =/
