So I just got a new computer and saved my mods and worlds in dropbox from my old laptop to my new desktop. I have redownloaded the MInecraft launcher and the recommended 1.7.2 Forge installer and all seems well until I press "Play" and the launcher just disappears and never loads Minecraft. I don't get a crash log, just nothing. Also, Minecraft will load properly if not using a forge version of minecraft. Only when selecting the forge1.7.2 version in the profile editor do i have this issue. Can anyone help?
Hey man, i getting the exact same problem and i cant fix it. ive been looking for others with the same problem and no one seems to know how to fix this for all i know. soz
