How do I fix this chunk missing?

I was playing Minecraft building a huge wall around my base that currently has over 20,000 blocks in it when I noticed a chunk missing near it. I've restarted the game and my Mac. Any suggestions on how to fix it? I played over half a day building it and exploring the map. I do not want to restart it.

MCEdit can set the chunk to regenerate. Some easy googling work and you could find many tutorials on that. It isn't nothing complex to do.
