I know there's too many topics about this, but I don't mind if you say that.
I used to have 40-120 fps in 1.6 until 1.7.10, now I thought that 1.8 is going to fix performance and now it's laggy and unplayable.
I will display it here.
Full render distance:
1.6 - 40/90fps (100fps on superflat)
1.7 - 70/120fps (130fps on superflat)
1.8 - 5/20fps (40 - 50 fps on superflat)
Low render distance:
1.6 - 140fps (240 - 500 on superflat)
1.7 - 150-210fps (240 - 550 on superflat)
1.8 - 150-240fps O_o? (200 - 300 on superflat)
Low render distance in 1.8 seems to improved my performance, but I don't know the reason about far render distance in 1.8, if you guys have the same problem, you can leave a comment here or vote on the poll, also I'm using AMD Radeon HD7770, I also hate low settings because I want minecraft to be more realistic in looking, also waiting for OptiFine to update, thank you,
