I reinstalled Minecraft about an hour ago after wiping out my PC then reinstalling Windows 7. I logged in and tried to play but it said that I needed to update my graphics drivers. I clicked "Fix the Problem" and followed the steps as best as I could. I have the link to my DxDiag Report if it's necessary. Minecraft was working fine before I wiped out my PC. The dxdiag log would do wonders in helping up solve your issue.
I think that's the same problem as me. I formatted my laptop and Minecraft was working fine before I formatted. Now it keeps coming up with an error. I have installed my drivers (Like I've made them up to date) and it still won't work.
