Hello everyone, I haven't played minecraft in a couple of months because I just started my new job so I haven't had much time to play but since I haven't been getting much hours and I don't want to look for a new job just yet, I decided to re-download minecraft and give it a go again. I keep getting this error every time I start up the launcher. Would anyone be kind enough to help me resolve this issue?

Go to Start and type in cmd. Right-click the results that appears and click 'Run as administrator', then accept then UAC dialogue.
In the command prompt window, type the following command and press enter:

netsh winsock reset

Once complete, restart your computer and try Minecraft again.
