I've tried several times to get mods ie, Clay soldiers and Twilight Forest without success, plus I only have resource packs button/tab. I have downloaded Forge and the mods, deleted the META-INF. I've done so many things now I think it may be too many. So I need to know about: the "mods & Texture pack button; Can there be too many Forge Mod loaders?

Should I delete all the forgemodloader entries? I thought I could get the META-INF back if I launched minecraft, but its not there. Is there a way to get that back? Lastly should I uninstall and reinstall minecraft, maybe start over? Thank you so much for replying, just a mom who's son has got her addicted to minecraft and we would like mods and I can't believe I can't get it to work. I think now I've done so many different downloads and upgrades that I need to start over. Thanks again
