My computer would get 80+ frames and ive been playing minecraft for 3 years now and have never had any problem, until now. I try and load my single player world and its jittery and slow, I'm getting about 10 frames, I don't know what's happening, I've been playing on 1.8 for a while so I can't downgrade to help the lag and I need help, Thank you. I've got an i7 processor if that helps and a decent graphics card

You might be having issues due to a large amount of entities in your world. How long have you been playing this world? If you have large amounts of animals sitting around, I suggest that you kill most of them. There might be hostile mobs gathering in unlit caves. Do you have lots of redstone or minecarts around? Really any mass load of entities will hurt your game performance.

1.8 is known to have performance issues, even this severe; hardware excluded.

At time a "fix" is not known, but it has been reported all over. 1.8.1 is said to have many performance optimizations, so till then one will have to wait sadly.

I don't have any entities gathering in my area, it might be 1.8 but I've been playing on 1.8 since it came out so I don't know what the problem is.

its probably just my computer slowing down as I have had it for 2 years, but I don't think that's the issue as I can play any other game on my computer with ease.

no it's not any of them, I woke up this morning to see if any of those worked and I realised its any world I start up it is laggy,

Even on super flat worlds it's laggy, so I have no clue.

If its not entities, then it's 1.8.

its not 1.8, I tryed 1.8.1 to see if it was an improvement, even thought it is a small improvement it's still unplayable, ibe never encountered something like this as it's not just my world it's every world I go on
