Minecraft runs fine, I don't have any crashes or problems. If this is in the wrong board then feel free to move it.
I am using Minecraft 1.8 at the moment and while creating an alternate sound pack for myself, the server that I am playing on has a resource pack that overrides mine. I searched the wiki page, a picture of the wiki's options, and my own options to find this so called Server Options that lead to disabling multiplayer packs, but nothing has popped up involving server's resource packs. I recall the option ask if I want to have the pack downloaded so I deleted the server's involved pack in server-resource-packs, but when I join the server I don't get the prompt, it just downloads automatically. I might just be blind, but I'd appreciate it if someone could help.

No, I'm not going to click your stupid dragon. I hope it dies.
