1.8 Not Launching Properly :(

When I try to start up my game the window loads like normal (Though the Mojang Logo does not appear) then there is a flash of white and the game freezes. Any fixes?

Its hard to guess what your issue is as your description is a bit limited but..

first try reinstalling java fully...remove all instances of java then install a fresh version from http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp (use 64bit if needed)

if that doesn't work please supply a dxdiag log (how to in my sig below)
