So, my minecraft spontaneously crashed several times with a black screen and a nvidia error that says there was a problem with the driver or something.
Here's what it looked like in the minecraft console:
[09:33:01] [Client thread/ERROR]: Item entity 15771 has no item?!
[09:34:54] [Chunk Batcher 1/WARN]: Needed to grow BufferBuilder buffer: Old size 524288 bytes, new size 2621440 bytes.

Well, it wasn't exactly a crash. Minecraft went to a black screen while I was playing, so I force quit minecraft and looked at the console. What I posted was the first abnormal thing on it.
I've been having the same problem since 1.8 came out... Random crashes and with the exact same numbers (524288 & 2621440)... Usually happens when I travel around the world a lot. It's on a server which has never been a problem before for me. Nobody else on the server is getting the issue.
Oh yeah, there's also a lot of this:
[19:49:04] [Client thread/WARN]: Unable to resolve texture due to upward reference: #bottom in minecraft:block/spruce_door_bottom
