I am using a pc with Windows 7 home edition, my friends profile stefan_reike was already on this computer with a working mine craft. I took my computer to internet and purchased myself own account with a card from wal-mart. I played it once online. I took my computer home without internet. When I load profile nuvmaster420 I load in holding the steaks that stefan_reike saved with, it has nubmaster420 as my name though. I can't connect the server for the two accounts on seperate computers, it says authentication servers are down. Why is this happening, I feel like I wasted money because it still sees me as him.
Why did you create another thread? Please don't do that.
When you edit a post that doesn't trigger an update so not only didn't I get a notification, your post didn't drift up to the top of the recently updated threads.
In any case in Single Player there is only one 'slot' so to speak for the "owner" of the world. It doesn't matter how many different minecraft accounts you log in with, there is only one "owner" inventory and game state. This is how downloadable maps work (like Super Hostile maps). You download a single player map that someone has set up, you log in, you have the inventory and location that you are "supposed to" have to play the map.
As for both of you playing together without Internet access, I don't know if that's how it works, or if that's an issue with your computer's configurations. You can only play a LAN game if your computers security programs (firewalls, etc) allow them to talk to each other on the sockets that MC uses.
I made a new thread because my account said it had been deleted, and on top of that your comment on my other thread was unhelpful and unnecessary, and slightly condescending. Some people are new to this site and trying to access it with a mobile device. My computers have a network connection, it says authentication servers are down. Regardless if I paid for two mine craft accounts I should be able to have 2 and play them together.
If your playing on a computer with no internet access mincraft won't be able to authorize your account online with its servers.
If accounts are getting mixed up like you say (which shouldn't happen) i would suggest you do a complete reinstall of minecraft by removing the .minecraft folder and then load the game up again, but this WILL require an internet connection
