So your touchpad works only sometimes? Well let's get started!

The first thing we want to do is find out our touchpad follow these steps:

1.Open up control panel, click Hardware and sound

2.Click Device Manager and hit Mice and other pointing devices. If you can find Synaptics Touchpad then follow this tutorial. (You may find Synapse Touchpad already in Hardware and Sound section)

3.You can also install Synapse Driver if you want to continue Link:www.synaptics.com/en/drivers.php (You will need to make a restore point for some cautious reasons)

Now let's fix this jam up.

1.On Hardware and Sound click Synaptics Touchpad

2.Hit PalmCheck-Enhanced and click the gear icon

3.On PalmCheck (The slider may start at the 5th Line) Move the slider to Off

4.Close and click apply

ALTERNATE (If you don't have Synapse Touchpad in Hardware and Sound)

1.Go to Control Panel and go to Hardware and Sound

2.On devices and printers, click Mouse

3.Go to Device Settings

4.Click settings

5.Hit PalmCheck-Enhanced and click the gear icon

6.On PalmCheck (The slider may start at the 5th Line) Move the slider to Off

7.Close and click apply
