So I enter Minecraft 1.8, and every time I make a world, everything except for the animals are black cubes, and no textures for the tools and other things. I keep resetting Minecraft, but still no textures. Can someone help? Am I doing something wrong?

Are you using a texturepack. if so the texturepack might be messed up or corrupted. If not follow these steps:

1. Close out of the game



2. If Windows Windows 7- : Open run.exe Application in the start menu, type down %appdata%



Windows 8+ : Find the charms bar, Click Search, type down %appdata%, Press the "Enter" key

If Mac: Click on finder in your dock, hit "go" in the top bar, hit "go to folder...",Type in



~/Library/Application Support/



3. Locate your .minecraft folder



4. Delete your .minecraft folder



5. Launch your game again



6. It should be fixed. (If not fixed repeat this again. If this keeps happening, Click the link and report the bug. Link: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MC)
