So my friend and I updated our AMD drivers to 14.9 cat to find that minecraft will not load after hitting play(we are both running cdifferent hardware setups). It stops with a hs_err_pid.log no crash log.

Now if i where to just load up just vanil of either MC 1.7.10 or 1.8 mc loads up fine. so i'm wondering if a mod is casuing some issue. I even went as far as to delete my shaders and resource pack to see if something in there was causing an issue.
Now if I revert back to cat 14.4 i don't have this issue, my buddy also confirm by rolling back even further. So something with cat 14.9 is and either a mod or java or minecraft is causing an issue.
I was wondering if anyone had any possible idea's or maybe has run into this problem too. we've already reverted back however i'm currently testing on my office pc with 14.9 and was hoping to try and resolve the issue cause i would like to use 14.9 if possible due to alot of new feature sin it.
okay so i had version 2.3.22-mc1.7.10-f1208 and i installed version 2.3.26-mc1.7.10-f of shadersmodcore, now the game acts like its going to load and crashs.

i see fastcraft being mention right away so i'll try and remove that and test see if it loads without that.

Okay so if i remove fastcraft now it loads, however fastcraft is more important to me than the shadersmod so I removed the shadersmod and now everything works.
Now question, what made you think to update the shadermod??? was it because it was mentioned in some of the pid.log???
also if this only occured from updating drivers is that a normal occurence to have to update "shadermods" every time you update your video drivers?? that just doesn't seem right.
whats also weird is why did the shadermod then work for a couple different older versions of catalyst???

Now if i where to just load up just vanil of either MC 1.7.10 or 1.8 mc loads up fine. so i'm wondering if a mod is casuing some issue. I even went as far as to delete my shaders and resource pack to see if something in there was causing an issue.
Now if I revert back to cat 14.4 i don't have this issue, my buddy also confirm by rolling back even further. So something with cat 14.9 is and either a mod or java or minecraft is causing an issue.
I was wondering if anyone had any possible idea's or maybe has run into this problem too. we've already reverted back however i'm currently testing on my office pc with 14.9 and was hoping to try and resolve the issue cause i would like to use 14.9 if possible due to alot of new feature sin it.

Okay so if i remove fastcraft now it loads, however fastcraft is more important to me than the shadersmod so I removed the shadersmod and now everything works.
Now question, what made you think to update the shadermod??? was it because it was mentioned in some of the pid.log???
also if this only occured from updating drivers is that a normal occurence to have to update "shadermods" every time you update your video drivers?? that just doesn't seem right.
whats also weird is why did the shadermod then work for a couple different older versions of catalyst???
