Hey guys I've been having lots of trouble with lag in 1.8, I've narrowed it down to that because I didn't get lag on 1.7.10 or the snapshots but as soon as I updated to 1.8 BOOM lag and not like just a little but a lot when I walk around on a server I get like 2-10 fps when normally I would get like at least 30-50 so i'm not really sure what happened, I have been contemplating upgrading my graphics card or ram, but i'm not very good with computers and so I don't really know what to look for, so as of right now I'm just hoping that it goes away but its not looking that way, please help i'm really stuck.

so far just on servers, but mostly on one server like I tried 3 other servers and I get around 20 fps (which is low but still playable) on other server but on the main one I play on I get BAD lag, but I've only tried on super flats.
1.8 is known to have severe performance issues for some people and their machine. The "exact" cause is not known yet, for there is many causing things people have found thus far.
^ Post above this one. Server itself has no affect on clients FPS alone.

I was talking about items in spawn such as mobs, or plugins that render effects on the client.
Computer Specs:
RAM: 6gb
Graphics card: AMD Radeon 6450
System: Windows 8
Bit: 64-bit

Its vanilla, and its not always at spawn.
What exactly does this do, I looked but it didn't really tell me.
