When I open the Minecraft.exe file, it makes the directory like it's supposed to, but when I close it, and open it again, it creates a new directory which is not what I want. I just want to be able to open the launcher without having to create a new directory. Is there something special I need to be clicking? Please help,
I don't have exactly that problem, mine doesn't delete it, but if you move the .minecraft directory, it makes a new empty .minecraft folder which is empty. (so no crash report, obviously)

When I open the minecraft.exe file, it keeps recreating the .minecraft directory, it opens but makes a fresh folder every time I open it.
