so i was playing just singlepayer vanilla the other day, i was doing good making a farm i had a chest full of stuff some dyed armor nothing great though



but i also like to play on multipayer so i go on a server that supports 1.7.10 so i switch whenever i go on that server. and ive done all the time going from 1.8 to 1.7 but this time something wierd happened usually the new blocks such as diorite will be replaced by stone and or just not be there but this time i log back into 1.8 and all my armor everything in my chest is gone! i spawned where i left off right next to my house but everything is GONNE!



please help i dont know what to do. is this a new glitch? has it happened to anyone else? and can i fix it?

You must have accidentally opened your 1.8 world with 1.7 at which point all 'items' in chests, inventory, etc go away for good in 1.7 or 1.8.

oh ok then i didnt know that would happen i thought it would just take away the 1.8 stuff not all but thanks anyway
