After installing Forge 1.7.10, opening the Forge profile (making sure it was running the right version), and clicking the play version to launch the game, I get the spinning circle like it is trying to launch, and then nothing. There is nothing that shows up, it is just like I never tried to do anything at all. I have tried to solve the problem too many times to count; from tutorials to different profiles, I even must have uninstalled and reinstalled Forge so many times I can not even count.
NOTE: I have had problems with critical frame rate drops in 1.8 and have followed the community and have been running 64-bit Java to fix the problem, and it hasn't worked. I suspect that running 64-bit might be a problem, but I have not been able to revert it to 32-bit. I don't know if that is a problem, but just thought I would mention it.
