So I have a really High-end computer and still getting lag in 1.8.
In 1.7.10 I get around 300-500 FPS and now I'm getting 50-100 sometimes even lower.
What can I do to fix this?
There is no reason why a simple game like minecraft should lagg for me.
Specs (The computer is brand new):
Intelcore i7-4790k
Nvidia Geforce Gtx 780ti (Kingpin edition)
16 GB ram.

There is nothing you can do besides wait for an update.
And 50-100 fps is not bad. You don't want any fps higher than your monitor refresh rate (usually 60 Hz (fps)) or you get screen tearing.
