Graphics problems

I have been having problems with my graphics in minecraft and what the problem is is that there are lines in between blocks (As seen in the picture) And my computer is an Alienware X51 With 64 bit OS ,Nvidia GTX 550 Graphics Card ,i7 processor And 8 GB ram

Turn off AA (Anti Aliasing) in minecraft settings, and possibly nVidia control panel

Well turns out it was off and that was the problem because I turned it up to 16 and no lines and the update must have messed it up because I don't remember turning it off

Well now I got another problem. Turns out it WONT stay on and I don't know why and now I don't see it anywhere in the settings anymore
