So I have had this mod that is pretty much just a replacement for torches. It takes away all shadows and makes the whole world bright when I press L. I have had this mod for so long and it hasnt messed up until now... I am not the best with mods so I only use that one and I use it on 1.7.2. Earlier today I used a different version, 1.7.10. That version has no mods on it, not even the night vision mod. And when I opened a world the whole world was bright and because I dont have that mod on that version, I cant turn it off...? So I switched back to 1.7.2 and pressed L to turn the mod off, then I went back to 1.7.10. I opened up the same world and it was still bright. So I closed minecraft and deleted the mod from the .minecraft folder. (I have no clue why, I guess I just thought it would "help"). Then when I got back on, all my worlds are still bright. And when I get on servers, they are bright too. I just really need to know how to turn this off.... It is really annoying and I need it back to normal. Ty. (:

-I didnt use forge or anything like forge to use the mod

Hmmm... I am not a mod expert but if its still happening maybe delete and re-download Minecraft. Sorry if that doesn't work. You should still have all your worlds and everything.
