I have been playing with mods for months now but not to long ago i had gotten a new computer this computer only has 32 bit java and I need 64 bit in order to play the MinecraftFinest mod pack Modventures. I was told that in order to do this i need to uninstall 32 bit java but i dont know how to do this. I am also worried that if i uninstall the 32 bit that my browser runs on could i still be able to use my browser on 64 Bit. Can you please give me a detailed explanation on how to do this because i am a complete noob at things like this and it helps when i have a complete step by step guide to do things like this.

First get on the internet and download a 64 bit java installer, if you have a 64 bit computer. To determine that, click on the windows logo in the lower left hand corner of your desktop if you have Windows 7. (If you have Windows 8, purchase the "system builders" version of Windows 7 on the internet, download and install Linux Mint, choosing to format your hard drive, then install Windows 7 to replace the Linux. You will be missing some drivers, so call Samsung, or other company that made your computer, and ask which ones, then download and install those.) OK, when you click the little logo a menu offers you an option called "computer" Right click on that and go down the menu it offers to select "properties." This will show you which kind your computer is --64 or 32 bit. If you have a 32 bit computer, installing 64 bit java won't help, you need to install a new computer, as if you have an Apple computer. Or play vanilla with a lot of video option adjustments. So if you can, get that first.
So, if you have a 64 bit computer running Windows 7 just go to the little window logo thing in the lower left corner, which brings up a menu from which you select <control panel> then pick <uninstall programs>. A list of properly installed programs will come up Find the program you want to uninstall and then uninstall it by right clicking on it and selecting the option to uninstall.
After that, install 64 bit java using the Installer by placing your desktop and left clicking on it twice quickly then following instructions.
i have the 64 bit installed but like i said because i have 32 bit installed it does not allow mincraft to use 64 bit because i need to uninstall 32 bit how do i do that so i can use 64 bit for minecraft and my browser i know thats what i need to do for a fact but i dont know how to do it thats all im asking can somebody please tell me how to do that
