I do not want to use this argument when i see it in the snooper settings! Please help me. don't just say keep it enabled i don't have intel drivers so i would like this line to be removed! is there any way to turn off this setting? use an old launcher? a unofficial launcher? any possible way? I have AMD Radeon HD 7450 graphics and not intel
checking the java arguments checkbox and making it blank does not work!
whether this is there or not will have no effect on the FPS you get.
This string is there so that Intel video drivers will operate in high performance mode for the minecraft java process.
Since you claim not to be using Intel video drivers, it does nothing on your system. Specifically this parameter is not used by Java or Mojang to do anything at all. It is ONLY for patched Intel video drivers to recognize that Minecraft is a 3D video game needing the driver to deliver high performance.
That's what I said. All it does it put the text "javaw.exe" and "minecraft.exe" onto the command line of the second java process where the intel driver can "see" it and recognize that second java process (the game as opposed to the launcher) as the 3D game minecraft.
