Not sure why it's doing this... I tried to uninstall and re install many times and even disabled my kaspersky firewall to try and get it working, but no luck. This is what I'm getting:

I have tried to reinstall the java but same error appeared. I am using ESET Smart Security for my pc. Can anyone please help? Thanks!

Note that these A/V's are trying to scan secure connections, but they do it in a way that is not secure. They insert themselves into the secure path that is indistinguishable from a piece of malware, i.e. they break the secure chain of trust. This is why the SSL connections fail, because a secure connection is insecure.

A/V's scanning SSL connections is a relatively new phenomenon. As is Java refusing to use SSL connections that are 'defective'. Both are probably consequences of the move towards SSL everywhere, which is itself a consequence of the increased awareness about security & privacy of network communications.
