I was experiencing very jerky movement in Minecraft, so I downloaded Optifine (standard version 1.7.10), as recommended in the Minecraft forums. However, I did not think about it being incompatible with Minecraft 1.8 and when I went to continue my game I see that it has caused me to lose everything in my inventory, including all my enchanted diamond armour, my enchanted diamond tools and weapons, the diamond armour and saddle on my horse, plus all of the emeralds and goodies I had been collecting on my latest exploration. Does anyone know how I can restore these things please?

Optifine stole my inventory
