Okay now my problem is: Before today I used to run like 150-500 FPS on minecraft but today I logged on to minecraft and the game wont run more than 30 FPS. Its like the FPS is locked there even do I have at Max Framerate. I do have Optifine. I have tried changing versions to check if different FPS but no difference. I have ran my antivirus for viruses and no viruses. I have tried out pretty much everything my Graphics card is up to date too.
I dont know what could have done this major drop on fps and lock the fps at 30 FPS.
Locks to 30FPS where? Difficult to follow where the problem is exactly occurring, main menu or what (throttles there)? In game?
If Javaw.exe is set as 3D High Performance application in the Nvidia Control Panel for application profiles, it will/should be working fine and using the Discrete GPU and not the Intel GPU.
Check the Optifine FPS limiter in Video Settings in game as well if Vsync is on (though that makes no sense, would mean monitor's refresh rate is 30Hz which is not something wise).
The settings are good. The Control Panel has it at High Performance. The issue is: When the charger is not connected to computer is at 30FPS and wont get higher than that. Once the charge is connected do it gets the normal fps which is 100-500.
How can I make it so when charger is off and on both it gets 100-500 fps.
Power Profiles, likely the window's ones as I know not if the GPU switching works in conjunction with such or has it's own separate power profiling setup.

Though say bye to battery life if you set it to run highest performance.

So when Im charging i get normal fps but once i disconnect it cause its at 100 it locks on 30FPS.
How to fix?
