As you can tell from the title, LAN worlds do not work on my computer. Up until now, my brother and I have been using a server for survival, but now we think its too much for my laptop. LAN used to work for us, but one day it stopped, and that is when we switched to servers. I don't believe the problem to be the firewall, because I've tried turning it off. And it's only my computer, because my brother can join friends' LAN worlds perfectly fine, but I still can't. I tried using direct connect, and I have checked the IPs. I use Windows 8 on my laptop. Please help me!
