Haven't played in a while, last time was when 1.8 came out to check it out, when i realized i didnt have optifine for it yet, i didnt even bother. Today i decided to play 1.7.10 so i launched it ans when i logged on all the paintings on my walls were fallen, inventory empty, and chests as well. I had a HUGE storage area that is now empty. Is there a way to recover?! I've seen some similar posts about this issue, It mojang aware?

I should add, its my server, with all the files on my computer

As it is said, do not play the latest and then play on older again.

When you played on 1.8 then changed and played on 1.7.10 again, that is what caused the erasing of stuff.

Unless you have an backup or log of all items you had in chests and so, it is gone.
