Also, I have 8GBram and no matter how many tutorials i follow on here, i can't allocate more than 512 mb to minecraft.



Any help would be much appreciated, as i've gone through this website and youtube over and over again and consistently fail.

Well this is why you can't allocate more memory:

To allocate more memory you need to remove that variable from your environment variable.

As for the crash, your stack dump isn't very informative, it's mostly missing with an error message... I do wonder though if you might be suffering from the Intel Series 4 problem (http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/references/intel-4-series-chipsets/) because you do have a ig4icd64.dll as part of your video driver.

Can you run MC version 1.7.2? Can you post a dxdiag?

You've solved my memory problem, but I've got no problem running 1.7.2. It doesn't crash. Often when my game crashes , a blue screen follows shortly after. I'm going to try the patch from the link.

I followed the community patch for the intel problem and my minecraft lagged so bad that I could not get more then 5 FPS. So I reverted that.
