Help! I cant find my minecraft folder on my MacBook Pro!

I new how to do it on my old Windows but i cant figure it out on my Mac! No videos help me and when i press cmd+shift+g it makes a sound and does nothing and it is nowhere else!

To get at Minecraft's locally stored files on a Mac, in the Finder, from the Go menu, select 'Go to Folder', and type in:

~/Library/Application Support/minecraft

and click Go.
