We just set up a new minecraft server in our house. We have 4 people that live in the apartment that are on the server, 1 person who lives across the country, and my girlfriend who lives on a school campus nearby. The issue is that my girlfriend and myself when on her campus cannot actually connect properly. We sign in go to multiplayer, see that the server is up and try to log in, but as soon as we log in all we see is darkness all around us, we can see the sky, sometimes its just a moon and stars, sometimes extra blocky clouds. Both of us are fine when at my house and we can sign into other servers on her campus just not ours? help?

Connectivity issues with my flatmate's server
