title...it's a high end computer desktop, runs mmos and other games at max settings just fine....but MC, barely. Yet MC runs perfectly on my i-3 Laptop which is shtty and low-end.
EDIT: And before you ask about Java, yes I downloaded the latest version, same as the one my Laptop has.
Also, I cannot get 32 block distance view on Desktop on 1.8, but Laptop can(the option is at 16 block limit max for desktop).

Make sure you have a 64 bit Java, not a 32 bit. Also, press f3 and see your memory usage.(Allocated and Using) If it's near memory overloading, allocate more RAM. Also, can we have your computer specs? We may be able to help you even further with that.
