2 glitches that I need to fix

The first glitch says: "Could not find the main class: net.minecraft.client.main.Main.Program will exit." this happens when i try to run 1.7.x +

My other one happens when i try to run forge the mc launcher closes out and mc doesnt appear.

Please explain and help

For forge, make sure all the mods are for the version you're playing and check if they are compatible with each other.

They are I've used them together on the technic launcher the same issue I have is when i have no mods at all

Thanks for the help i I found that using Minecraft.jar is better but still, if it happens again i'll try your idea
