THANK YOU SO MUCH! Wow, i seriously would've never done that. So basically you saved me Alright so java works all .jar files now run properly but i still get the launch error...
is what i get when i try to download the dev launcher. Normal launcher gives me this:
The registry refers to a nonexistent Java Runtime Enviroment installation or the runtime is corrupted.
The system cannot find the path specified.
Still being a launch4j error, even though .jar files look fine. I think its a problem with the enviroment variables. When
making a mod you add a new one, and when i was deleting it to try again i think i deleted a system variable maybe.
It's either that or "runtime" is corrupted or somethings wrong with "path". Any idea?
Oh sorry, forgot to mention that launching minecraft doesn't work. By that i mean the launcher itself gets that error when i launch the launcher. Therefore, I can't check
YES I DID IT I didn't have Java in Program files i only had it in Program files (x86). Well thank you so much for the help re installing Java, since i would've never figured out how to uninstall it. So thank you so much! I really appreciate it! And im sooooooo glad i can slap that resolved sign on the thread
Alright i know that you know this kind of stuff. So I'm trying to mod again with a tutorial that actually helps, but i'm having a problem launching Eclipse which is(if you didn't know) a way to code with Java. When i launch it get this error:
Failed to load the JNI shared library "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\client\jvm.dll".
Any idea what that means?
(Also a pic of my Program Files Java folder if that's needed)
Oh and if you can't help in this area it's fine, because I can probably find a way to fix it i just don't know where to start.
