I tried to run minecraft today, but when the game started up, before it could even get to the title screen, it showed this:

This is your issue. http://hopper.minecraft.net/help/references/intel-4-series-chipsets/

From now on, you can play Minecraft 1.7.2 and below.

Dang it, I really wanted to play 1.8...

You would have to tweak some of your system files, but nothing serious. And use poiihy's link.

It won't alter my system right? Just my Minecraft.exe?
