When I try to login to the minecraft launcher (1.4.4) nothing happens. I don't get an error message the status bar in the bottom just cycles and cycles and cycles... I left it going for 4 hours and it never gave me an error message. I am able to login at the Mojang site with the same email and password I am trying to use in the launcher. Advice?
Yes i have a migrated acount and yes I am using my email address. I am using the same userid (email) and password that i use to sign into the Mojang site.
yea sorry about that, Its just a small email so I thought it was your username. Have you tried uninstalling Minecraft and re-installing it? When did this start happening?
You may need to reinstall the locally installed files that Minecraft puts into place.
To do so, press your Windows+R keys, type in %AppData% at the dialog, and press Enter. In the window that appears, open the .minecraft directory, and delete everything except for the saves directory that you see therein. Then, try running Minecraft again.
