Tried using Technic Launcher, and that works fine.
But whenever I try to use Forge, it causes the screen with Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Realms, etc. buttons to jump off the screen. All of the graphics are... shifted to the bottom-left, and most of them can't be seen. However, the buttons still function properly (I think), but then the screen goes entirely black or entirely white, depending on which screen I go to. Attached is an image of the main screen.
I tried it with 0 mods loaded, and it still happened.
I've uninstalled Minecraft and Forge from my computer, deleted my .minecraft folder, and reinstalled them both to no avail.
64-bit operating system, 2.10 Gz, Dual-Core Processor... and that's about all I know about my computer's specs. Not sure where to find my java version.
It decided to work one time last night, after numerous failed attempts.
And tonight has fared no better.
My friends confirmed that I did log onto a server, however. But the screen was entirely black, grey, white, or flashing red and white (which I assumed was me getting attacked by something.)
I had thought this was fixed, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Any other suggestions?
