Fix: I have found that closing the Teamspeak plugin Overwolf fixes this issue.
Since the 1.8 update I have been encountering a black boundary that resides where the render distance is set. It will occasionally flicker and it is quite annoying to play with as you can imagine. It does not appear to happen on any previous version of the game. I have re installed the game from scratch, updated my graphics, and looked far and wide for a solution but have found none.
Yeah, I found OverWolf to be evil. Soon after I started using it my computer would BSOD crash after awhile. I uninstalled it and haven't had a problem since.
