Is anyone else finding minecraft 1.8 singleplayer unplayable? I have a pretty good computer but its taking a minute to load worlds and then i'm only getting a few fps. Water isn't spreading and blocks and entities don't seem to be updating. Im wondering if anyone else is having the same issue or if its just me and how I can fix it.

Also it's just singleplayer, if I join a server then everything works fine.

Anyone know anything about this?

Lots of people are talking about this in the Recent Updates and Snapshots forum. Lots of debate about what's causing it but so far no real answers.

Not sure if the devs have mentioned even being aware that it's happening.

My solution is for 64bit PC's. Uninstall the 32 bit java and install 64 bit version. Made mine run perfectly now

Its weird, im seeing a lot of these, Try allocating more memory. or maybe Mojang will come up with a fix soon.
