minecraft wont open on windows 8.1

Okay so i had windows vista and minecraft worked fine, then i updated to 8.1 and i got this message.

FATAL ERROR: net.minecraft.bootstrap.FatalBootstrapError: Unable to un-lzma: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException: -1

what should i do?
