Since updating to 1.8, my game has some seriously freaky graphical glitches, whenever I try to bring the render distance higher than six chunks.

In every previous update, I was able to have max render distance with no issue. There's still no lag, but the glitchiness makes it impossible to play on higher render levels.

These are all shots of the exact same location, taken seconds apart.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

No mods. Just purely vanilla. Hence why I'm in the Unmodded forum.

Every new world I go to, and any old ones I had before the update have the same issue.
