HI,
I downloaded minecraft.exe, then i ran minecraft.exe(it worked fine), i then finished and closed minecraft. When came back later, and opened minecraft.exe, the launcher started and then failed to launch with the error-
Bootstrap (v5)

Reversing LZMA on C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack.lzma to C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack
Unpacking C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.pack to C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.jar
FATAL ERROR: net.minecraft.bootstrap.FatalBootstrapError: Unable to un-pack200: java.io.FileNotFoundException: C:\Users\User\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\launcher.jar (Access is denied)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.unpack(Bootstrap.java:159)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.execute(Bootstrap.java:123)
at net.minecraft.bootstrap.Bootstrap.main(Bootstrap.java:381)
Please fix the error and restart.
I deleted both .minecraft & and minecraft.exe, re-downloaded minecraft.exe and got the same result(worked fine, then never again).
so now i'm here with the detailed experience and i need help.

If it is there, right click on it, and select properties. Make sure the the read only option is not checked. If it's not there, reinstall Minecraft again, and if it disappears again, something weird is going on that's deleting it.
