My daughter plays Minecraft on my Mac and she has been unable to install any updates since 1.7.2. I'm running OS X 10.9.4. I've seen people talking about doing a "force update" from the Options on the login page, but we don't have an Options button on the login page.
I hate to sound stupid, but I'm really not good with computers, so if any of you have suggestions, please walk me through it step-by-step. Thanks. (Oh, and don't tell me to get a PC instead, because my friend that works at Microsoft told me years ago that he had never seen anyone have as much bad luck with a PC as I had. :-)
