When I use minecraft 1.8, it always lags severely when i even move on the game. It happens on single player mode and multiplayer mode every time I use 1.8. Can anyone help?
I don't think so.. If you google "minecraft 1.8 lag".. you see this is a VERY common problem.
Some players seem to notice it more than others and there seems to be no real cure for it
some say it's the hardware they play on, the version of os, outdated graphic drivers etc etc
one tip I've seen is turn off vertical sync, turn on vbo and reduce view distance . I've got a few extra fps doing this BUT it still lags badly near/over water, but then again my pc is ~8 yo running 32bit XP with only 4G memory
