POSSIBLE SOLUTION! Requires further testing, please contribute
I believe I have found the problem with this bug. I believe it is the way that forge handles being launched via an external launcher/having something pached into it, such as Magic Launcher, MCPatcher, and Light Loader. I have (with 3 successful tests, keeping my inventory and levels as well as the location I quit in) possibly found the solution.
To fix the problem, simply load minecraft with the Forge profile in your normaly Vanilla Launcher. it may be a bit harder getting your mods to work, but once you learn to get them into the mods folder, it should would better/just as good as with MagicLauncher/MCPatcher! Please, if this worked, spread the news of how you solved this problem. I have asked the creator of Forge to look into this and see if its a problem in his code or if its something to do with the launchers/patchers
As the title states, my inventory keeps being deleted. I've figrued out that it is happening in new worlds (1.7.10) after I close and re-open up the client. Its a bit fustraiting to suddenly crash because you forget to turn connected textures off on Optifine (another bug, another time) and crash shortly after finding some Thermal Expansion Lead and Silver (with no adjustments to the spawn)... I have recently made a new world and thrown everything into a chest before closeing, and have yet to open it up in fear of loosing my progress so far. If anyone has any idea why this is happening, I'd greatly appreciate some info on why its happening.
I am running one of the latest versions of Forge (1.7.10-10.13.0.1205) in an attempt at fixing it.
