Open minecraft, click edit profile, check JVM Arguments and type: -Xmx500M -Xms500M, if this is not working try changing it to -Xmx1000M -Xms1000M
It already has 1g allocated to it by Default. updated java to most recent version and uninstalled older versions. Not sure what's happening. Hardware is fine and good, don't think it'd be that since for a while i've had over 200+ fps before in 1.7.10 Even with Shaders in 1.7.10 i'd pull 45 to 60 fps at the lowest. No idea what could be causing this.

I assume it must be because i have no idea, this is just unacceptable, the choppyness makes the game unplayable.
