I just downloaded 1.8 and started a new world. Upon doing so the surroundings seemed to jump and move without ceasing. After several minutes of trouble shooting I discovered that my VBOs were set to off so I turned them on and that problem was resolved (I would still like the option of having them off though and as of now that isn't an option).
After I resolved that issue I noticed that a lot of mobs are invisible in my new 1.8 world. The mobs I have discovered I cannot see are creepers, sheep, cows, zombies, and spiders. I CAN see chickens, skeletons, bunnies, and endermen. Nothing I have attempted has resolved this issue. I can only note passive mobs by their shadows/drops and active mobs by their attacks/drops. I have noted some others having trouble with invisible mobs so I imagine this will require a patch but any help would be nice.
Oh I am using an Radeon graphics card and an A8 3500M processor.
